Right... enough about me, time to draw your attention to some current affairs that I found compelling.
I was catching up on The Age the other day, and came across a photo gallery which made me stop and wonder.
Apparently shop owners in parts of Iraq now play porno flicks in their stores to keep punters inside. Men can drink on the streets and 'ladies of the night' now walk those streets, where they never could under Saddam.
Strange how intoxifying liberty can be. And how dangerous. But perhaps everybody's just enjoying themselves. I mean we have porn in gas stations, where you can also buy beer... not sure where you'd find yourself a prostitute if you want one. Perhaps that will be WalMart's next innovation.
I mean they do hold 53% of the US pet food market. They are also proud to provide a RV stopping area outside many of their stores. RVers stay at the store overnight, and where do they get their milk in the morning? Well, WalMarts.
