Although i'd rather this blog doesn't become a CD reviewing website, i'm still going to make comments about the music I listen to because a) it tells you a bit about me, and b) it's a good stocking filler.
So, I purchased a new CD yesterday called "Sounds from the Verve Hi-Fi", compiled by the Thievery Corporation.
It's not a mix, just a bunch of crazy 60s toons with plenty of tacky hammonds, sitars and the German white ladies of soul.
You know the ones... they hung around with Velvet Underground... they sing like... well... German white ladies of soul, but boy! they look good.
