It's Saturday again. I did some gardening with Kara... a bit of transplanting and erection - of a greenhouse for winter.
Apparently it gets very windy at times, so we used about a million staples to hold down some heavy-duty plastic over the No-Dig vegie patch.
The vegie patch now contains some scented geraniums, a few herbs, marigolds and some hopeful capsicums left over from the warm weather.
I was getting a bit peckish (Kara's still out there)... and while I was toasting some raisin bread I happened upon this little delight: "The Woman's Almanac and Book of Facts", circa 1963.
Let me recount a couple of pearls.
