I'm sure I must have sounded like an ignoramus in my last post about Canada signing something new regarding missile defence. Musing whistfully on the meaning and constitution of N.O.R.A.D., I decided i'd better investigate just how involved Canada was with this particular organisation. Turns out Canada and the US formed N.O.R.A.D. in 1957 (aka not last week in Ottawa). So there you go.
I was just about overtaken with short burst of apoplexy to discover that N.O.R.A.D. is in fact tracking Santa. Yes, this "bi-national military organization of Canada and the United States responsible for the aerospace defense of the two countries" has developed a kiddies' Chrissy website wherein one may see precisely where Santa is on Christmas eve by taking advantage of seventy billion deployed satellites and their sophisticated tracking capabilities, all the while listening to pleasant Chrissy music.
