This is a picture I did not take of a 6 or 7 year-old boy with a bright red t-shirt standing in front of a wheelchair with red upholstery on a slopey street in Cole Valley. The scene begged the question why is he there with that? until it was answered by an old bespectacled grandparent being led down a flight of entry stairs by the boy's mother.
