Now, I don't know about you, but frankly, i'm a little surprised that this little piece of street art made it through the clutches of a) the Quality Assurance Panel, and b) the Taste Police.
It was a lovely idea... let's sprinkle the lovely cities of Vancouver and Victoria with some public art, for the masses... what is a symbol of the loveliness we wish to depict? The Orca.
So, why in heaven's name did this little mexican number (as well as one near the Vankie library with its guts cut out and filled with bookshelves) make it through?
