I think the one defining feature of Canadians that I can put my finger on is that they all love the Great Outdoors.
Give them a weekend, some sunshine, some fleece and some hiking boots, they are as happy as pigs in the proverbial shit. (Or is it proverbial pigs in shit?)
I am thrilled to announce that i've been invited to join in some recreating, camping on Vancouver Island, at the mythical Long Beach. Apparently, our party has the 2 primo-deluxo campsites at this particular beach, one of which is a hefty 1.5 feet from the sand.
I'm excited to see the natives in their natural ecstatic state, recreation abounding, hikes to be had, Cold water to possibly swim in, and much tent erection.
Give 'er!
