We released a new feature today: Geotagging. Now there is yet another way for me to surf around the world and see gorgeous things, like photos of the basecamp at Mt. Everest. (Here's my map so far.)
I'd like to mention that Ana, John, Gordon and I put together a couple of help-y screencasts about How To Geotag Your Photos, and Exploring The Map. It was hilarious fun, and made me realise that a video can say a million words when you're trying to explain something new.
Anyhoo, go forth and explore!
August 29 Update: Over 1,200,000 photos were geotagged in the first 24 hours. This is FUCKING UNBELIEVABLE, a HUGE THRILL and EXCELLENT.
