I'm so pleased that Caterina is blogging more these days. Her eclecticism and eloquence are inspirational and a pleasure to read. Nuggets abound, like this quote from Robert Heinlein snipped from her piece entitled Obsession and Spare Time Pursuits. Timely for me as I try to answer the "What do you want to do?" question:
A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.
Though idleness is one of my deep loves, I am starting to get restless.
